We welcome and support individuals interested in pursuing online or evening programs of study. With transfer credit options for life experiences and prior college experience along with flexible start dates, many applicants choose Mary every year to begin or finish a degree. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve started a program before or are starting for the first time, we will support you in attaining a university education – for Life.

Adult Student Application Checklist

1. Apply Online.
2. Pay the application fee (non-refundable).
3. Submit your transcripts.
   1. Official transcript(s) from an accredited high school. Students who graduated from a non-accredited high school or homeschool program may be required to submit additional information and/or other documentation.
   2. GED transcript (if applicable).
   3. Any college transcript(s) for courses taken during high school (if applicable).

Required Scores

We automatically accept students who meet our minimum standard, which is a high school cumulative GPA (unweighted) of 2.5 or higher, or if applicable, a GED battery average score of 450, with no scores lower than 410 in any one section.

Students who do not meet our criteria for automatic admission will have their files reviewed by the Academic Standards and Admissions Committee. This committee evaluates each applicant on the basis of secondary school achievement, professional experience, and other applicable qualities to ensure that the applicant will make positive contributions to community life at Mary and will be able to progress satisfactorily toward degree completion.
